Lack of snowfall forces cancellations to NAU courses

Due to lack of snowfall, NAU cancelled their annual snowboarding and skiing classes, held at the Arizona Snowbowl, for the semester. Phone calls to the resort have been alerting callers of limited slope availability. David Smith, director of sales and marketing, said the cancellations will be detrimental to those who work at the resort. NAU to open graduate program in Phoenix

NAU is responding to the need for more health professionals in Arizona by creating a graduate program for physician assistants in downtown Phoenix. Starting this fall, the Health Sciences Education building will be open in the Phoenix Biomedical Complex and will be admitting 25 NAU graduate students into the first class for the Physician Assistant (PA) program. “Rapid Route” makes campus transportation a breeze

With the completion of the Transportation Spine this past semester, NAU Parking and Shuttle Services chose to eliminate the bus route along the northern portion of Knoles Dr. However, due to the enormous volume of students in need of faster transportation between north and south campus, the department revived public transportation along the road launched a new three-stop “Rapid Route” this week.
