University to test alert system at 3:30 p.m. today
BY KEVIN BERTRAM — At 3:30 p.m. today, Northern Arizona University (NAU) will perform a diagnostic test of its alert systems, in compliance with its requirement to do so under the Clery Act.
According to a media release from the NAU Office of Public Affairs, the test will include the sounding of “sirens, voice warning, home page messaging, email, computer pop-ups, Facebook, Twitter and the NAU Alert text messaging system.”
